  • How to Play?

  • Step 1:
    Assume you're using Firefox and are a RUNE gamer, c    opy and paste this line below into the locationbar while on this page and hit enter:

    Step 3:
    When done, click on "Add Application" on the Information bar that appears
    Step 4:
    After this is done, go back to this page and click on the "Play Now!" button. A "Launch Application" popup will appear.
    Step 5:
    Click on the "Choose..." button and locate your RUNE destination folder and click the Rune.exe file.
    TIP: You might want to create a shortcut to the game (f.ex. Rune100.exe/RuneHOV.exe) in case you have both games and click that shortcut instead. And if so, DO NOT check off the "Remember my choice for 'rune' links."
    This is essential because you cannot join a HOV server with 1.00 version and vice versa. Not until the unofficial 1.09 patch is out anyway.
    Step 6:
    If the problem still occur, you may have to either reload/refresh the page or restart Firefox.
    Step 7:
    RUNE ON!!!
